Facebook!

Just wanted to let you all know that I made a Facebook page...finally!  It only took me a little over a year to put one together to go with my blog.  Better late than never, I suppose.  Check back a little later this week to take part in a Facebook Followers Giveaway!  Feel free to head over now and like it early!

Easter Sale and a not so fun Friday...

First, I want to let you all know that I am having an Easter sale. Tomorrow, April 20 and Monday, April 21, you can head to my TpT store and save 20% on everything!
Be sure to check around as there are lots of teachers participating in this sale!

This past week, my wrist has really been bothering me. My wrist has been achy and sore and my entire hand has been tingly and going numb at times. And which hand is it, you ask. Of course it's my dominant hand. So I was off yesterday and decided to take a trip to the doctor. I had an X-ray to rule out breakage...which I thought would not be the case as I haven't had any trauma to cause breakage. The X-Ray came back normal as I thought it would and I got this lovely new "fashion accessory" to try out for a week with some anti inflammatory meds.
It sounds like early signs of carpal tunnel. Hopefully this will help me to become symptom free so I don't have to go for more testing with possible occupational therapy or surgery.

Next week should be interesting as I can't get a good grip on writing materials with this thing on. My writing looks terrible!

In a happier note, I hope everyone has a great Easter. Don't forget to hop over to TpT and do a little sale shopping!

Five for Friday...Spring Break Edition

It is Friday...where has my week gone????  I've been on Spring Break this week and I swear I don't know where the week flew off to.  But I could definitely use more than just Saturday and Sunday before heading back!

It's been a while, but I am going to participate in Five for Friday via the wonderful Doodle Bugs Teaching.

So here it goes...
1. I made this wonderful crockpot lasagna to kick off my week.  Before I show you the picture, let me just say, I am a huge fan of crockpots.  This recipe is definitely in my top three crockpot recipes!  The picture will take you to the recipe's website!

2. After that, I kicked my week off with a pedicure with a teaching buddy! Gotta love the get together time outside of school.  And what better way to kick of a spring break staycation than with a pedicure?!  No pictures here...not a fan of feet pictures! HA!

3. I love that my mother works in a school setting as well. It's nice to have the same breaks as her (for the most part, we work for different districts).  So we met up and had a wonderful Olive Garden lunch!

4. I made a new product this week, which I am excited to use with my kiddos when we get back together.  We are loving everything clocks and time telling right now.  So I put together an interactive mini reader for my kids to practice filling in analog clocks while reading known sight words.  If you'd like a copy, leave me a comment with your email and I will pick a winner or two Sunday.

5. Nothing too exciting, just a little laminating therapy on a Friday!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Late to the Party...

Well, I'm late to the party (which is nothing new!).  But I'm linking up with the wonderful Farley at Oh Boy 4th Grade for the April Currently.  If you don't know what I'm talking about, you will definitely want to head over and check it out...but finish reading this first!

Here it is...
Lisening: I am loving Lady Antebellum. I just finished off their album on iTunes. Lots of country albums on sale for $7.99. I just couldn't help myself!
Loving: Yesterday was the beginning of my Spring Break, and it feels great!
Thinking: I would love some spring-like weather for my Spring Break stay-cation. No vacation planned, but I'd love if it would warm up a bit here.  Only a day or two forecasted to be near or slightly about 50.
Wanting: I have been wanting to go and get a pedicure for a month.  It's even been scheduled twice, but sickness came over both of us on different occasions and so we're still in the rescheduling stages.
Needing: I've got lasagna in the crockpot, but I still need to go get garlic bread and a salad.  Heading over the the boyfriend's family tonight to bring dinner! Should be fun...once I have everything I need!
Hours and Last Day: The hours above are my hours with students.  I usually get to work between 7:30 and 7:45. And it differs each day on when I leave! Depends on if I'm feeling like there's stuff I must get done or not! I try not to allow myself to stay past 4:30!
