That didn't work...and a sale!!

So I created a post yesterday to show what I had received through the Back to School Blogger Exchange that was hosted by Covered in Glitter and Glue. As you can see...something didn't work out! So here we go again!
My box came in the mail...totally exciting!
Love the bright colors...so excited to see what's inside!
So many amazing things inside the box. This was such a great way to kick off back to school! My exchange partner was the sweet Autumn from Coast to Coast Kinder. Go check her blog out...so cute!

Now, onto the sale! As you know (or I hope you know) Teachers Pay Teachers is having their back to school sale! Sunday and Monday will have everything in my store 28% off!
So I'm linking up with Christina at Bunting, Books, and Bainbridge for her Best and Most linky party! Here are my best and most...
My choice for Best Couple would definitely have to be the Base Ten Block Addition and Base Ten Block Subtraction.  Both of these items have the option of completion with or without regrouping.  I used both of them last year with my first and second graders and they were great for differentiated practice.  The students who were doing well with addition or subtraction could move on to practice the regrouping addition and subtraction!  While those who were still having difficulties could continue practicing without the regrouping.

My choice for Teacher's Pet is my States of Matter with Jello activity.  This tool is wonderful for teaching the states of matter.  It really held my students' attention last year.  Who doesn't love a good hands on lesson that includes a snack at the end???

My choice for Most Likely to Help Your Students Succeed is one of my newer creations: Counting to Answer How Many.  This item can be used for small or whole group instruction or even as a center.  It includes cards with different colored ten frames to help your students practice their counting and recognize how ten frames work and can help their counting.

So there you have it...the awesome stuff that I received in the Back to School Blogger Exchange and some of my favorite TpT items.  Happy shopping tomorrow (and Monday)!

Slow down summer!

Hello lovely readers! It's been a bit since I've been around, but that is because I am trying to thoroughly enjoy my summer which is quickly coming to an end! I've spent the last couple of days in meetings about common core and curriculum, so I just wanted to pop in and let everyone know that Teachers Pay Teachers is having their back to school sale on Sunday and Monday. I cannot wait...I need to check and make sure I've left feedback so I've earned my credits and can use them during the sale!

Be sure to stop back tomorrow to see what I got in the Back to School Blogger Exchange! My blogger sent some awesome stuff!

A little MIA lately!

So I've been a little missing lately! I've been getting into my room a bit and just really living up these last few weeks of summer break! I did complete a Monday Made It today! So in linking up with 4th Grade Frolics.

I finally, and I truly mean finally, finished my crate seats. I've had the supplies for over a year. Last summer/beginning of the school year got busy and awful real quick, so they never even got started. But I really wanted to get them done this year. After a few hiccups (read: don't buy your foam from a fabric store), I finished them today. Here's a few pictures...
Cutting up my foam mattress topper!
Attaching the foam to the wood with a little spray adhesive.
Preparing the fabric.
Attaching the fabric to the board and foam (I still need to add a little ribbon handle).
Finished product...I made 3!
